Introducing the Vonkat PAF8 Black Edition, a true motorcycle fork for high-powered e-motos!
We put a lot of thought into what this fork should be. From the roll-out of the original Surron Light Bee in Spring of 2018, the evolution of the mid-sized e-moto bikes has moved at a rapid pace. As the power has grown, so has the need to move away from downhill mountain bike style form factors, and on to the real McCoy!
The Vonkat PAF8 features:
Beautifully machined T6-6061 triple clamps with split, opposed pinching offer incredible strength and precise torquing. Comes with a new lower bearing already pressed on, to make installation easy.
Designed to accept stock, 3 bolt pattern front fenders, but also feature direct mounting of Husqvarna TC85 / KTM 85 SX front fenders and number plates… which look awesome.
Multiple handlebar positions: The top crown has three different mounting positions running for and aft. The 1 1/8th inch motorcycle handlebar clamps feature a slight offset, so running them in one direction slightly increases the reach; while turning them 180 degrees decreases the reach. This gives you a total of 6 different positions. We also include a pair of 20mm risers, which doubles the possibilities to 12.
Built in Delrin fork stops means you don’t have to remove rubber bumpers to extract your fork legs
Each fork leg has rebound adjustment and air release valve on the top, and compression adjustment on the bottom. Springs in both legs. 810mm of stroke.
Open-bath design gives both plush action as well as ease of end-user maintenance.
37mm, gold TiN-coated steel stanchions are strong, slick, and look fantastic.
Solid-core, T6-6061 axle is super strong and features knurling and wrench flats for ease of removal.
The PAF8 is made to utilize a Surron Ultra Bee style front hub, and comes with a complete BiK Brakes Dual Bore front brake system (pre-bled floating caliper, hose, master cylinder and a 240mm 3.1mm floating rotor). This setup gives your tires ample clearance and your bike incredible stopping power.
There is an option to include a complete rear brake setup with your kit. Be sure to select the version that is appropriate for your rear hub rotor bolt pattern.
